SOCIAL MEDIA TIPS:

DO:

Create a PRIVATE FaceBook group right away for your customers. Do this over a “PAGE”…unless customers are super engaged in a page, they won’t see the posts. Plus you can name a private group whatever you’d like!

Follow the advice in this document. Commercial posts need to stay in your private business groups and NOT on your personal feed.MARY KAY DO’S & DON’TS

DON’T:

Put salesy or commercial posts in your personal page(s) on any social media platform. We are also not allowed to sayt “who wants a discount” or “who wants a goodie bag”. Please refer to MK’s digital zone for advice on this. It is important that we adhere to these guidelines.

DON’T:

Donstantly do discounts and “selling” in your groups. People get tired of that, instead think of what kind of content would add value to someone’s Mary Kay product experience. Maybe its you offering a tutorial on something, or a tip, or a picture of you wearing your fav products. Indirect selling is always preferred.

DON’T:

Sell or steal other people’s customers because you are friends with them on social media. It is very important that we make sure people aren’t already working with a consultant.
